The 2020-2021 school year marks my 25th year as a teacher and my 14th year teaching at Kenilworth! After growing up in San Francisco and San Rafael, I earned my BA at the University of California at San Diego. I then moved to Boston where I earned my MA at Boston University. After returning to the Bay Area, I enrolled at Dominican University where I earned my teaching credential. My first job was at Napa High School, but my heart was in Petaluma. So after one year, I returned to the school where I did my student teaching, Casa Grande High School, where I spent the next eight years.
Aside from teaching, my family keeps me very busy! My husband, Al, and I have 4 children (21, 18, 15, and 9). We spend much of our time on the baseball, softball, soccer, and flag football fields as well as on the basketball and tennis courts. We love to travel, especially to Disneyland and Disneyworld!
